JLC Construction and Outdoor Structures is a family-owned and operated business. After working in the construction industry from a young age, Josh ventured out and started the business in 2008 . When JLC Construction and Outdoor Structures first started, it began with a primary focus on roofing. From there the company has grown and now specializes in outdoor structures and amenities. He also does interior remodeling focusing on kitchens and bathrooms.

Josh and his wife Erika both grew up in the Spring-Klein area. They love the area so much that this is where they've put down their roots and are raising their two small children. They are huge SHSU fans - Go Bear Cats! They enjoy all outdoor activities from roller staking, fishing, biking to spending time with their kids as much as possible. Josh has coached his daughter’s soccer team and as a family they attend all her select soccer games and tournaments. They are supporters of the local school district, Klein ISD, and are a Partner in Education with the district. They volunteer at the elementary school their daughter attends and are a sponsor there. If there is a weekend where Josh needs to be at a job site to finish a couple of items on a project, it would not be a surprise to see his two children there helping him - truly a family-owned and operated company.
